An alloy that represents aluminum extruded materials.

A6063 is an aluminum alloy that adds magnesium and silicon to aluminum, and it is the most representative extrusion alloy among the 6000 series. It is characterized by high corrosion resistance and excellent workability. Additionally, A6063 has excellent extrudability, allowing for the precise extrusion of products with complex shapes. When welding is required, structural assembly using rivets or bolts is often performed. Therefore, A6063 is a highly versatile alloy, capable of extruding various shapes of products such as pipes and channels. Furthermore, due to its high extrudability, it is particularly widely used as material for the interior and exterior of buildings.

A1070 Aluminum Extrusion Alloy

The thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity are high, and the weldability and corrosion resistance are good.

A1070 is made of pure aluminum material, with a purity of over 99.7%. As it is a pure aluminum material, it does not have elements added like other aluminum alloys to improve strength or extrudability, resulting in lower strength and a characteristic softness (ductility). Due to its high purity of over 99.7%, it has excellent corrosion resistance, as well as superior thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. Therefore, A1070 is used in heat exchanger components, machine parts, and components related to power transmission and distribution. By the way, the last two digits of A1070, "70," indicate its purity, confirming that it has a purity of 99.7%. For example, A1100 indicates a purity of over 99%, while A1050 indicates a purity of over 99.5%.

A3003 Aluminum Extruded Alloy

A3003 is one of the representative alloys in the 3000 series, made by adding manganese to pure aluminum. It retains the corrosion resistance and good workability characteristic of pure aluminum while improving strength. As a non-heat-treatable alloy, it does not undergo aging treatment. Additionally, it is rarely used as a cutting material, which is another notable feature. Its main applications include electrical machinery parts and heat exchangers. Aluminum cans are also made using alloys from the 3000 series.

A6005C aluminum extruded alloy

A6005C is an alloy developed in Japan, positioned between A6063 and A6061 in terms of strength. Its former name was 6N01, and it is characterized by high corrosion resistance, excellent extrudability, and superior weldability. Due to its ability to produce thin-walled and complex cross-sectional shapes, it is widely used in railway vehicles such as Shinkansen and subways. Its high extrudability allows for easy extrusion of large profiles, making it possible to reduce the number of weld joints.
